The question is: Why would it mean anything to own a luxurious house or car (needless to talk about yachts or airplanes or islands), while the main functions of a house or a car are fulfilled with an average kind of belonging, given that roughly 734 million people remain in extreme poverty (2016)?

Call it common sense, principles, conscience, however you want to describe your measure of right and wrong. Fundamentally, it would tell you how unfair and superficial it is. I know of a global project involving only volunteers called “Creative Society”.

I spent 4 hours and a half listening to their online conference on a Sunday while I was supposed to cook for the week. They will welcome with open arms anyone who is willing to walk the talk. Here is the link to the conference, should you be interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=gdHJOk6jx1o&feature=youtu.be
