Only dysregulated but intrinsically good folks deserve our compassion, it seems to me! For lost souls and mentally disturbed individuals I mentioned earlier, they know what they’re doing and do it anyway. It’s their choice to inflict harm. Thus, pity or indifference would be the maximum thing they’d be offered, I suppose!
