My dear friend, I’m afraid some kind of abusers (the most dangerous being malignant narcissists, or extremely intellectually smart psychopaths who do not display antisocial traits, but all of them except for the overt classic narcissist are damaging) know exactly what they are doing.

They know they’re inflicting extreme hurt (the most dangerous ones are saddistic and feed on the victims suffering). They simply believed their delusional narrative that they’re special, entitled and that their needs come first, and that life is game to win at all costs.

The only detail they ignore, indeed, is that their karma is built-in and that no matter what they get from others, they can only feel empty and miserable.
