Let me share an interesting and heartwarming/heartbreaking discussion I had with one of my most treasured soul friends! She goes by the name of Jill and I was telling her about my plan to leave my country of residence. She genuinely suggested that I come to the US. I told her that I was invited by other dear american friends, as well and that I'm beyond grateful and honored by her invitation. She asked enthusiastically that I choose her! She expressed that the whole family already loved me given that she doesn't stop talking about me and that they've been noticing how her mood becomes joyful whenever she was talking to me or even watching a video or reading one of my articles. She added that I could stay forever without caring about money, and that if I prefer being in a mobile house, I could always travel with her husband. Needless to say that I was moved to tears and left speechless! After warmly thanking her for her generous heart and precious trust, I explained to her that I needed a Visa to visit the US and that I would, in all likelihood, be rejected given that freelance was not an legal status in my country, yet (pathetic and shocking, I know!).
"Wha......... whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat" was her only possible answer to this nonsense! Life is so f*cking unfair is a truth that I needed to accept!
