It also confirms once again how cruel our species past is and that no matter how horrific some actions and behaviors of our fellow humans in modern times could seem to be, they're incomparable to the brutal practices of our ancestors!

That's the reason why I keep faith in humankind and in the global self-awareness rise I've been witnessing during the last few years, which is soul-soothing despite the relatively small number compared to perpetrators and intrinsically good folks still diving into life on auto-pilot!
