Being a complete jerk will never be likable, as far as I am concerned! Authenticity is real only when we come back to our true self: a principle-centered being who would never be rude and offend people for the sake of feeling better about oneself. Otherwise, it's called being an asshole, and that's ugly no matter the context, I suppose!
