An intrinsicly good person is not necessarily a good friend, I’m afraid. It seems to me that not caring about cleaning one’s place is a red flag about lacking self-respect. When we lack self-respect, we drastically lack self-love. When we lack self-love, we are unlikely able to build trust and healthy relationships.
